The WARP SpeeTile System consists of plastic mats with an open structure. The plastic SpeeTube pipe is easy to install in the SpeeTile tiles. The smart click-break-slide system ensures optimal use of the mats, so that cutting waste is a thing of the past. A characteristic feature of the product is the low installation height starting from 15mm, and this includes the SpeeTube pipe and leveling layer!
WARP Systems supplies the SpeeTile in two sizes, the SpeeTile 10 and the SpeeTile 12. Due to its open structure, the SpeeTile is highly suitable for finishing with a “wet” topcoat.
Due to its open structure, the SpeeTile is highly suitable for incorporation into a plaster layer as underfloor heating. The plaster can be easily sprayed onto the mats, where it adheres to the underlying wall. After curing, the synthetic mat acts as reinforcement within the plasterwork. Knauf Germany has tested the SpeeTile 10 system in combination with Knauf plastering materials and issued a declaration. Below you will find the declaration and installation instructions prepared by Knauf.
The SpeeTile 10 system is the solution for situations where limited build-up height is available. The 13mm thick SpeeTile 10 mats, in combination with the SpeeTube 10mm underfloor heating pipe, are finished wet using the specially developed SpeeTop leveling mortar. The SpeeTop is easily poured and flows out to create a smooth floor just 15mm thick. Due to the open structure of the tiles, the SpeeTop adheres firmly to the substrate. Because the SpeeTube is enclosed by the “wet” layer, the pipe can effectively transfer its heat to the building mass, resulting in optimal efficiency.
The SpeeTile 10 system is also used in wall heating finished with clay. Clay plaster is a moisture-regulating finish with a high heat capacity. The open structure of the SpeeTile ensures a good mechanical bond with the clay.
The SpeeTile 12 system is the variant for situations where build-up height is of less importance. This system combines the SpeeTile 12 mats with the SpeeTube 12mm underfloor heating pipe, which is clicked into the tiles with a centre-to-centre spacing of 10cm. The combined build-up height of the SpeeTile 12 mats and the pipe is 15mm. This system is finished with a top layer of your choice, such as anhydrite. In terms of build-up height, you should take into account a minimum of 2 cm for such a floor.
