Wire mesh panels are an easy-to-install approach featuring a robust fastening system.

The floor is fitted with suitable floor insulation, covered with a vapor barrier, with edge insulation on all walls in preparation for installation. An A142 wire mesh with a 200 mm square mesh pattern and butt joints is laid on the floor insulation.

Warmafloor PB piping is then laid on the grate in the desired configuration and secured to the grate with plastic tension straps.

The pipework is routed back to the manifold and pressure tested before the screed is laid.

The Warmafloor Wire Grid system is suitable for sand/cement or concrete screeds but is not suitable for liquid screeds.
