What is Milling

Milling technique is a fast modernization system for underfloor heating systems that cuts into existing floors without causing damage or altering the level of the screed. Using a special floor milling machine, our installation team creates virtually dust-free grooves for the heating pipes in the existing screed (cement or anhydride screed with a minimum thickness of 40 mm). This allows the floor covering to be placed directly into the grooves after the pipes have been laid. The grooves are cut directly into the existing screed! This minimizes structural requirements. Renovation of the floor core is not necessary.

Advantages

Installation process

The simplest way to install underfloor heating in an existing screed, concrete, or tiled floor is by milling grooves. This avoids unnecessary floor constructions or milling out the grooves.

Process Section
01

Milling

The milling machine mills the channels into the existing screed at precise spacing.

02

Lay

Because the machine cuts exact grooves, heating pipes can be laid directly.

03

Fill

After testing the pressure, the trenches can be sealed.

04

Flooring

The entire floor is leveled and final flooring can be applied.
